Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture is the leading educational establishment in Ukraine, which trains specialists for construction. Its prestige is based on successful combination of reach traditions having been formed for more than 70 years and introduction of new achievements by the scientists of the university. For the years of its existence the university trained 60 thousands specialists for 80 countries of the world. The university collaborates with many educational establishments of the world. There is a preparatory department for foreign citizens wishing to study at the university. During 30 years of its existence it trained about 4 thousands foreigners for their future studies. Foreign citizens must have the certificate of finishing the preparatory department if they wish to continue their studies in higher educational establishments or technical schools of Ukraine. The preliminary training for foreign citizens is carried out at the Preparatory Department which was founded in 1967.
